Thanks for all the hard you work you continued to do last week.  Great job!  This week we begin Chapter 2 and I have confidence you will continue to do well and will find this Chapter even more interesting than the first one J

Monday, 9/10

Review section 2.1 up to page pg. 27.  We will dicuss pg. 28-33 sections 2.1-2.2, how the atmosphere is heated.  Lab 2A, uneven heat distribution.

Homework- read pg. 33-36 up to heat distribution in atmosphere.  Answer pg.38, Questions 2-3.  Choose a list of possible science project topics for lesson 6

 

Tuesday, 9/11

Quiz 2.  Review sections 2.1-2.2 up to pg. 33.  Go over 33-36 in class. 

Homework- read pg’s 36-40 up to A turning effect. Answer pg. 38 #’s 4-6, and think question and page 49, question 1.  Read Lab 2B in lab manual.

 

Wednesday, 9/12

Review sections 2.1-2.2 up to page 36, discuss pg. 36-40 in class, Lab B,

 

Homework- Read pg. 40-43 up to rotating winds, Answer pg. 49 #2, Bring topics for science project to class.

 

Thursday, 9/13

Review up to page 40, discuss 40-43, narrow down science project list.  Find resources.

 

Homework-  read pages 43-47 answer pg.49 Questions 3-5.  Project topic due tomorrow

Friday, 8/31

Quiz 3, class discuss 43-47. 

Homework-  Read pg’s 47-49 answer pg.49 Question 6.
